ShakeSpeare® Legal Workflow Software
ShakeSpeare® Legal consists of the following four components:
- Workflow Configurator
- Text recognition
- Document management
The Workflow Configurator is the heart of the ShakeSpeare® Legal Process Management software. It allows you to digitally map and automate processes without programming knowledge. This is up to 25 times faster than traditional software development.
Popular applications in the legal area are: Mass processing, document release, distribution of incoming mail and recurring customer inquiries.
Via the roles / rights system, shared workflows can be created and even external parties such as partner firms or clients can be integrated. ShakeSpeare® is a “Legal Workflow Management” or “Legal Process Management” software, with which one can manage legal digital workflows.
Workflow – Configurator ShakeSpeare®
With the workflow configurator of ShakeSpeare® (“no-code platform”), every legal process can be digitally displayed via a graphical interface.
Plug-Ins: Legal Workflow Automation (legal RPA)
ShakeSpeare® plug-ins can be used to automate the processes created in the workflow configurator. Plug-ins are small building blocks that can be used along the workflow to automatically complete certain tasks, such as creating a record, calculating a deadline or sending an email. Automation thus works according to the modular principle (Lego principle), fast and flexible.
By combining the workflows with the plug-ins, customized and maximally automated solutions are created without writing a single line of code. This is what we call “legal process automation”, “legal workflow automation” or “legal RPA”.
Text recognition OCR:
OCR technology or text extraction is used for classification and data extraction from documents.
This technology is usually used at the beginning of a workflow for incoming documents. The incoming document is automatically processed. The text recognition can recognize the document type, assign the document to a record, extract relevant data such as deadlines, sender or amount in dispute and automatically trigger various subsequent workflows based on this data.
Document management (legal DMS):
The DMS stores documents in an audit-proof and versioned manner.
Documents can be connected to workflows via the Workflow Configurator, for example to release them. Documents can also be automatically created, sent or made available to third parties via workflows.
If a DMS already exists, it can be connected and synchronized with little effort.
